WFD Hosts Fire Prevention Open House

Last night members of the Wyckoff Fire Department hosted their annual fire prevention open house at Company 1. The night was filled with fun activities such as rides on the fire trucks, rides in the tower ladder bucket, and trying on fire gear.

The Wyckoff Police Department understands how difficult it may be to celebrate your child’s birthday while adhering to the social distancing guidelines. That's why, starting Monday April 6th, the Wyckoff Police Department will offer a program to help celebrate your child’s special day!

If your child has a birthday that occurs during this unprecedented time, please reach out to us. We will work with you to schedule a lights and sirens drive by to help brighten the day of our young residents. A drive by can be scheduled by emailing PO Oldewurtel (Officer Kevin) at koldewurtel@wyckoffpolice.org.

Please provide your child’s name and how old they are turning, your home address, and the contact information of a parent or guardian to help schedule the time of the event. All we ask is that you please provide us with 48 hours notice to schedule the event. If your child has any sensitivities to loud sirens or bright lights, please specify in your email request.
