pAt 523pm yesterday afternoon members of the WFD were dispatched to a report of a vehicle into a residence with a possible entrapment.nbspnbsp Police officers arriving on scene requested the FD and BLS respond in due to the nature of the call.nbspnbspppChief Rose 230 Engine 233 OIC DC Koeber Rescue 243 OIC DC Vanderplaat Rescue 243 OIC FF Kofler andnbspEngine 232 OIC BC Hendrickson responded into the scene.ppUpon the arrival of FD units it was determined that the vehicle did not make contact with the residence however the vehicle did suffer extensive damage when it struck a tree in the front yard of the home which was now leaning on and compromising utility lines.nbspnbsp The sole occupant of the vehicle was able to self extricate before being turned over to BLS for evaluation.ppCrews were able to secure the vehicle and the damaged tree without causing any structural damage to the residence or the utility lines.nbsp A tow contractor arrived a short time later and removed the vehicle.ppCrews returned to service at approximately 615pm.p
