The week starts off with two calls on Monday and three on Tuesday. Mondays calls were both residential fire alarms that were coincidently set off in error by contractors. Tuesday kicked off with an activated fire alarm at the Cornerstone ChurchPreSchool. A mutual aid engine from Franklin Lakes was dispatched as per the high occupancy policy. The alarm was determined to be set off in error by another contractor. The next call was a strong odor of natural gas inside the Dunkin Donuts. Crews determined the fumes to be an oil based paint from contractors working on the roof. The day wrapped up with a trapped occupant inside an elevator at the Christian Health Care Center. Crews were able to secure the power to the elevator and open the door removing the occupants. Still three hours left in the day………-230
