At 244am this morning dispatch toned out a mutual aid request for the Tower Ladder to respond mutual aid to Franklin Lakes fornbspa working structure fire.nbspnbsp A short time later Engine 233 OIC DC Baker was also dispatched to the scene to assist in completing the water supply operating consisting of over 6700 feet of 5quot hose and multiple relay engines.br br Upon arrival of Franklin Lakes Command Chief Bohny 330 command reported a fully involved 1.5 story wood frame ranch.nbsp Chief Bohny immediately requested a NORCON Activation and a multiple alarm assignment due to the advanced stage of the fire and the extensive water supply distance.br br Tower Ladder 241 OIC BN Rose responded to scene on Seminole Drive and were immediately put into service operating in the driveway of the residence.nbsp The crew from 241 went to work setting up the truck master stream operations.nbspnbspnbsp Crews from 241 were able to make great penetration of the fire in combination with the lines from Franklin Lakes Crews being operated on the exterior of the structure to get the fire knocked down pretty quickly.br br Additional companies operating at the scene were Oakland Mahwah Saddle River Upper Saddle River Midland Park Waldwick and Hohokus.br br All mutual aid companies stayed on scene until approximately 645am.nbspbr br Good job to the Franklin Lakes Brothers on a good stopbr br -249br br
