pJust before midnight last evening the Midland Park Fire Department was dispatched to a report of flames coming from the roof of a church on Godwin Avenue.nbsp Upon the arrival of the police it was confirmed to be a working structure fire with the fire venting from the roof.nbsp Midland Park Chief Pete Hook 530 signed into service and quickly arrived on scene.ppUpon arrival of Chief Hook a second alarm assignment was requested bringing Wyckoff Chief Dave Murpjy 230 along with Engine 232 OIC Capt. Hendrickson Tower Ladder 241 OIC DC Rose Waldwick Engine 632 Hohokus 731 FAST TEAM.ppAdditional mutual aid companies on scene included Franklin Lakes Engine 335 Allendale CascadeRescue 942 and Ramsey Tower Ladder 442 FAST Team.nbspnbspppChief Murphy arrived on location and was designated as the Interior Chief assisting the first due crews inside the structure.nbsp Upon the arrival of Tower Ladder 241 Chief Hook requested the truck be positioned at the rear of the structure to assist with roof operations and ventilation.nbsp Wyckoff Engine 232 was assigned to assist with water supply and additional handlines to the interior of the structure.ppThrough a well coordinated effort of all mutual aid companies on scene the fire was contained to the original room of origin with little spread to the remainder of the structure.ppPictures courtesy of Franklin Lakes Fire Department.nbsp Click on the attached links inside the story for additional videos or pictures.ppa hrefhttpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com1020410205httpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com1020410205app-239p
