This past weekend nine volunteers from the department traveled nearly 250 miles and 4 hours each way to make a special trip to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. On Monday the group ventured their way through the District of Columbia to show their appreciation and gratitude to all those troops who served and sustained a multitude of different injuries at the Medical Center. Nearly 60 t-shirts Centennial Journals and key chains were dispersed to wounded troops and their families which brought smiles and thank yous from all. A special thank you goes out to all the members who participated in the trip and also to all those who supported them. And it goes without saying thank you to all the brave men and women of this great nation who serve and protect our ways of life day in and day outThe Wyckoff Fire Department Supports Our Troops-220
