Just after 12:00 Friday afternoon, rescue 242 was requested by Fair Lawn to respond as the FAST team for a third alarm bank fire involving downed live high tension wires and natural gas fed fires at two locations. The Rescue operated on scene for approximately 10 hrs before the power lines and gas were shut off and the fire was finally knocked.
