pAt 1134 hours Monday Morning a Drury Lane homeowner contacted the police desk reporting a smoke condition in her residence with the smoke alarms sounding.nbsp Wyckoff Police and fire departments were immediately dispatched.ppUpon the arrival of the first Wyckoff Police Officer the officer was reporting heavy smoke in the area.nbsp Chief Murphy 230 signed into service and received the update.nbsp Upon confirmation of a confirmed smoke condition in the residence and a possible garage fire Chief Murphy requested a second alarm assignment into the Township.ppEngine 231 Tower Ladder 241 Engine 232 Engine 233 and Rescue 242 all signed into service shortly after dispatch.nbsp Engine 231 came into the scene and established a water supply.nbsp By this point Chief Murphy reported an active garage fire with extension into the floor above.nbsp Interior crews stretched handlines into the structure to attack the main body of fire.nbsp Upon the arrival of Tower Ladder 241 truck crews immediately went to the roof creating a vent for the interior attack crews.pp2nd alarm units arrived on scene and were quickly put to work assisting the Wyckoff Crews with the attack and overhaul.nbspnbsp The fire was placed under control within 35 minutes of dispatch.ppMutual aid companies operating at the scene included Waldwick Ramsey Franklin Lakes Hohokus Oakland Hawthorne Allendalenbspand Mahwah.nbspppGreat job by everyone involved for making a quick stopppClick on the link below for more picturesppa hrefhttpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com12096httpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com12096app-239p
