The first call of the day broke the 600 mark and climbed from there.pp1 At approximately 0405 hrs dispatch toned out for an activated fire alarm at a home on Midland Avenue. Upon investigation it was determined to be an activation due to a water leak in the ceiling.pp2 At approximately 0519 hrs dispatch toned out for an activated CO detector at a home on Lee Court. Investigation was completed and PSEampG responded.pp3 At approximately 0853 hrs dispatch toned out for a police assist for an ice rescue of a dog in the Spring Meadow Pond. Upon arrival of Chief Murphy and DC Brock it was determined that the Police were able to coax the dog close enough to shorenbspto get him with a snare prior to thenbspdeployment of the ice team.pp4 At approximately 1017hrs dispatch toned out for an activated fire alarm at a home on Ravine Avenue. Investigation showed the activation to be due to burnt food.pp5 At approximately 1351 hrs dispatch toned out for a reported bedroom fire. While enroute the police reported that it was a bathroom fire and the fire may be out. Upon arrival of the initial crews it was determined that a fire had started in a a first floornbspbathroom in an extremely large residential home.nbspnbspThe flames started to burn the curtains around the window. The homeowner attempted to remove the burning items by dragging them through the home to an exterior door. These actions caused other small spot fires to occur.nbsp Investigation overhaul and ventilation was completed and all units returned shortly thereafter.nbspppThank you to all the members that took time away from their families to respond.pp-230ppnbspp
