pOn Sunday Evening at approximately 8pm the Ramsey Fire Department was dispatched for a possible attic fire on Valley View Drive.nbsp Upon arrival of Ramsey Chief Jim Dougherty he immediately requested a NORCON Activation and a 2nd alarm assignment to the scene.nbspnbsp Chief Dougherty reported a chimney fire that had now extended to the attic of the residence.ppAt 806pm Tower Ladder 241 OIC DC Rose responded into the scene.nbsp Upon arrival the crew from 241 assisted Ramsey crews ventilating the roof and overhauling the areas around the chimney.ppThrough an aggressive interior attack and well coordinated ventilation the fire was quickly knocked down limiting damage and fire spread to the remainder of the residence.ppAdditional mutual aid companies operating at the scene were Ramsey Rescue Allendale Fire Department and the Mahwah Fire Department.nbsp Great job to everyone who operated at the scene.ppnbspPictures courtesy of the Northwest Bergen Mutual Aid.ppClick on the link for additional pictures a hrefhttpnwbma.shutterfly.com8653httpnwbma.shutterfly.com8653ap
