pAround noon on Tuesday September 23 the Hawthorne FD was called to 33 Oak Place and found fire in the basement with extension into the walls. ppImmediately a second alarm was put out for mutual aid which included Engine 231 from the Wyckoff Fire Department as well as apparatus from other towns. ppQuick work brought the fire under control. p
