On Thursday November 8 2007 at approximatley 1229 hours Wyckoff Communications dispatched the bravest to the intersection of Franklin and Monroe Avenue for a reported two car MVA. Police and ambulance corp. members were on scene and requested assistance in popping the rear drivers side door of one of the vehicles involved in order to facilitate patient removal. Chief Murphy 230 arrived on scene and established command. Rescue 242 OIC Capt. VanderPlaat and Engine 232 OIC Lt. Hendrickson marked on scene shortly thereafter. Rescue 242s crew went to work securing the vehicle and completing the door removal within minutes. Engine 232 pulled a dry line as a precaution during the cut. The bravest assisted in backboarding and removing the patient from the vehicle so she could be transported to Valley Hospital by Wyckoff BLS.-146
