pAt 324pm today the members of the Wyckoff Fire Department were dispatched to report of a possible fire at a residence on Morse Ave.ppEngine 231 OIC DC Vanderplaat Tower Ladder 241 Rescue 242 Engine 233 OIC BC DeBlock and Chief Rose 230 all responded into the scene.ppUpon the arrival of the first due engine DC Vanderplaat 239 established command and reported visible fire conditions on the front deck area of the home with extension into the adjoining walls.nbsp Command immediately requested NORCON be activated and requested a 2nd alarm assignment to the scene.ppCrews were able to quickly extinguish the fire with minimal damage to the residence containing the fire to the exterior deck and adjoining interior wall.nbsp The scene was quickly downsized returning most mutual aid companies a short time after dispatch.nbspnbsp Mutual Aid crews from Franklin Lakes Midland Park and Waldwick assisted at the scene along with the Wyckoff Ambulance Corp.ppDue to an aggressive attack by the crews the fire was extinguished quickly with minor damage to the residence job well doneppThanks to all of our mutual aid towns that responded into the scene or for coverage.ppPictures courtesy of Ken Vanderwall.ppClick on the link below for more infoppa hrefhttpwyckoff.patch.comarticlesfire-department-quickly-extinguishes-house-firehttpwyckoff.patch.comarticlesfire-department-quickly-extinguishes-house-fireap
