pThe Wyckoff Fire Department was dispatched at 325 a.m. for a reported house fire at 256 Monroe Avenue called in via 911.ppInitial units arrived on scene at 329 a.m. to this single family dwelling and saw visible fire out of the second floor front left and left side windows.ppAssistant Chief Tim Brock was Command and immediately requested anbspsecond alarm. This dispatched neighboring fire departments in our mutual aid.ppThe fire was placed under control at 404 a.m.ppThree residents were treated for smoke inhalation on scene and released. Two family pets perished in the fire.ppFire Marshall Fred Depken was unable to determine the exact cause of the fire but did say it was accidental.p
