pnbspnbspnbspnbsp On Friday February 13 2009 at approximately 1703 hrs the department was dispatched fornbspanbspFAST Teamnbspto Kingston Ave in Hawthorne on anbspconfirmed structure fire. Chief Murphy 230 andnbspaidenbspBC Vanderplaat 249 signed into service. Rescue 242 OIC Capt Zivkovich responded to the scene. Upon arrival the crew set up ladders and stood by. After a short time the crew was broken down from its Fast assignment and put inside to assist with some overhaul work.nbsp The work was limited due to the excellent stop made by the Hawthorne crews. Their quick knock down stopped the home from extensive damage.nbsp Once completed the assignment was downsized and the Rescue returned. Wyckoff Engine 233 OIC LT Forsyth also responded for the cover assignment at Rescue Company5.ppnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp At 1804 hrs while returning from Hawthorne Rescue242 and Chief Murphy230 signed in to respond to an activated fire alarm on Sicomac Avenue in Wyckoff.nbsp Upon arrival of command DC Graglia238 it was reported to be set off by burnt food.
