pThis morning at 2am the Allendale Fire Department requested the FAST Team and a NORCON Activation for a working garage fire in their town on Franklin Turnpike.ppChief Rose 230 and Rescue 242 OIC DC Vanderplaat both responded into the scene.nbspnbsp A short time later Tower Ladder 241 was dispatched for the coverage assignment at Allendale Fire HQ along with Midland Park Engine 533.ppAllendale crews were able to get the fire knocked down quickly in the large 2.5 story detached garage and prevented any extension to neighboring structures.ppAdditional mutual aid companies on scene were Waldwick Ramsey and Mahwah.ppAll mutual aid companies returned to service at approximately 445am.p
