In the early hours of Friday dispatch toned out the Fast Team for a reported structure fire in a commercial building in HoHoKus on North Maple Avenue. Chief Murphy 230 and Rescue242OIC DC Brock responded to the scene. Upon arrival the crew was assigned to stage at the alpha side of the building. Crews from HoHoKus and Waldwick Fire Departments were already in operation in both the basement and roof area of the fire building and adjoining structure. A compliment to the initial crews as a quick knockdown was completed. The fire appears to have started in the basement of the fire building and extended into the walls. While on scene Wyckoff Engine 232OIC DC Graglia was also dispatched to standby at HoHoKus Fire Headquarters. After the investigation was completed Command downsized the units and Rescue242 and Engine232 were released. -230
