pAt approximately 345am this morning Wyckoff Police received a report of a deck fire on Vassar Street.nbsp While patrols were enroute and the fire department being dispatched callers reported that the fire was spreading to the home.ppChief Murphy 230 signed into service and received an updated report from the police that the fire was spreading to the residence and that all occupants had safely exited the structure.nbsp Chief Murphy immediately activated NORCON and requested a 2nd Alarm Assignment to scene.ppDC LoRusso 238 Engine 232 OIC BC Hendrickson Tower Ladder 241 OIC BC Vanderplaat Engine 233 OIC DC Koeber and the remainder of the Wyckoff Assignment signed into service and arrived on scene within a few moments after dispatch.ppUpon arrival of Chief Murphy the fire was quickly spreading up the rear of the home with extension to the attic space.nbsp Interior crews entered the structure to begin an offensive attack inside the building.
