Last night, members of WFD Company 3, with the assistance of Assistant Departmental Chief Tim Brock and Ex-Co. 1 Deputy Chief Joe Vanderplaat, drilled on two donated vehicles. Members practiced various techniques on how to pop vehicle doors, roll the dashboard and remove the roof of a vehicle utilizing hydraulic cutters, spreaders and rams. Members also practiced forcing open a vehicle hood, using a Halligan to make purchase points and stabilizing the vehicle using step chocks and other devices.
