Zivkovich responded in and stoodby in staging until the scene was downsized.nbspnbsp Ramsey crews determined that large boiler backfire had caused the smoke condition with minor extension into the area surrounding the boiler.nbspppAt approximatelynbsp0916 hours while TL 241 was still in Ramsey on the coverage assignment dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for an activated fire alarm on Franklin Avenue.nbsp Engine 231 OIC BC Vanderplaat Engine 233 and Engine 232 all responded.nbsp Crews determined that the alarm was activated due to a system malfunction.ppAt 1205 hours dispatch toned out a mutual aid request for the FAST Teamnbspand Tower Ladder 241 to respond to Oakland for a reported kitchen fire.nbspnbsp DC Rose 239 Rescue 242 OIC BC Vanderplaat and Tower 241 OIC Lt. Gaeta all responded into Oakland.nbspnbspOakland crews were able to quickly extinguish a small kitchen fire returning all incoming mutual aid companies shortlynbspafter thenbsparrival of the FAST Team.nbspppAt 1456 hours dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for an odor of natural gas in a residence on Bromley Place.nbsp Engine 231 OIC BC Vanderplaat Tower Ladder 241 OIC Capt.
