pSunday turned out to be a busy day for the volunteers in Wyckoff.ppThe day started off with all of prospective pump operators participating in a CEVO Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations Proficiency Course to demonstrate their driving proficiency of the apparatus.nbspnbspppWhile in the midst of the CEVO Course dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for the FAST Team to respond mutual aid to Hohokus for a reported attic fire.ppChief Murphy 230 and Res2Cue 242 OIC Bn. Rose both responded to the scene in Hohokus.nbspnbsp Upon arrival Hohokus Command reported that they had a fire on the exterior of the residence with minor extension to the interior of the home.nbspnbsp Apparently the homeowner was removing paint from an exterior window frame using a torch or heat gun and the heat ignited a small fire on the interior of the window sill.nbsp Hohokus crews quickly found the fire and extinguished it before it was able to spread.ppThe FAST Team stood by for a short time while overhaul operations were taking place and were released a short time later.ppJust as the Res2cue 242 was clearing the scene in Hohokus dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for an activated fire alarm atnbspa Church on Squawbrook Road in Wyckoff.nbspppChief Murphy 230 Engine 233 OIC DC Baker Engine 235 OIC DC Graglia Tower Ladder 241 OIC Capt. Fisher and Res2cue 242 OIC Bn.
