On Sunday Morning at 0051 hours dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 208 Northbound north of Grandview Avenue.Chief Murphy 230 Res2cue 242 OIC DC Brock Engine 232 OIC DC Graglia Engine 233 OIC BN Pruim and Squad 234 OIC BN Rose responded to scene. While enroute Hawthorne Police Officers on scene reported via SPEN that there was no entrapment. Chief Murphy arrived on scene and established Command moments later. Command confirmed that there was no entrapment and reported that there was a one vehicle accident involving a Nissan Altima that lost control in the northbound lanes just north of Cedar Hill Avenue striking the righthand guardrail and losing control. The vehicle then went on to make impact with the lefthand divider and spun around facing south in the northbound lanes. Luckily none of the three occupants were seriously injured and no other vehicles were involved.All Wyckoff units remained on scene to assist and handle the cleanup of the debris field on the highway until the tow company arrived on scene.All units returned to service 0153 hours.-249
