At 0440 hours this morning dispatched toned out the F.A.S.T. Team mutual aid to Hohokus for a working structure fire.br br Chief Muprhy 230 and Res2cue 242 OIC BN Rose responded to the scene.br br Upon arrival team members assembled all of their equipment and staged at the front of the structure.nbspnbsp The team performed a sizeup of the structure and insured that all sides of the building were laddered in the event that additional access or egress was needed.nbspnbsp Interior crews were still operating on the basement and first floor levels with a heavy smoke condition visible fire in the basement area and crews reported that the floor on the first level was compromised.br br Interior crews made a quick knock down and determined that the fire started in the basement utility room with some extension into the walls and ceiling area of the basement.br br Upon arrival of a 2nd F.A.S.T. Team from Ramsey the Wyckoff Team was directed by Hohokus Command to handle some interior ventilation and overhaul.br br Additional units on scene were Waldwick Engine Ramsey F.A.S.T Team and Hohokus and Waldwick EMS Units.br br All units were released at approximately 7am.br br Nice job to the Hohokus team on a quick knock downbr
