At 2245 hours last evening dispatch toned out a mutual aid request for the Truck Company to respond mutual aid into the Borough of Franklin Lakes for a working structure fire on Park Road.br br Chief Murphy 230 and Tower Ladder 241 OIC DC Brock responded to the scene.nbspnbsp While enroute Franklin Lakes Command Chief Bohny 330 reported a confirmed a working structure fire in a 2.5 story wood frame residence.br br Tower 241 arrived on scene just behind the Franklin Lakes first due assignment and began to assess the situation.nbsp Due to the remote location of the home and the difficult roadway conditions leading to the home navigation and positioning of apparatus was an important factor.nbsp Franklin Lakes Truck 342 took position in the front of the residence while Tower 241 positioned in the driveway on the quotDquot side to assist as needed.br br Franklin Lakes interior crews reported a heavy fire condition on the second floor of the home and requested assistance with ventilation.
