p New Photos 12-4-2008 ppAt 1953 hours on Tuesday Evening dispatch toned out a general alarm assignment for a reported fire on the outside of a residence on Blue Hill Terrace.nbsp According to the police dispatch the fire was possibly extending into the attached garage.ppChief Murphy 230 responded and arrived on scene within moments of dispatch.nbsp Chief Murphy reported upon arrival that he had a 1.5 story wood frame residence with fire and smoke showing from the garage area.nbsp Chief Murphy established command and immediately switched all communications over to the mutual aid response and operations frequencies activated NORCON and requested a 2nd alarm assignment to the scene.ppEngine 231 OIC BC Rose signed in quickly with a crew of seven and responded into the scene along with Tower Ladder 241 OIC FF Kofler Engine 233 OIC DC Baker Engine 232 OIC DC Graglia and the remaining Wyckoff Assignment.ppUpon arrival the crew from Engine 231 was able to quickly establish a water supply and get water on the fire which had engulfed the garage area with auto exposure to the common attic.ppWaldwick Engine 631 and Tower Ladder 641 were on scene just after the initial assignment and assisted the Wyckoff Crews.ppAdditional mutual aid units on scene or standby were Allendale Ramsey FAST Team Midland Park Mahwah Oakland Franklin Lakes and Hawthorne.ppThanks to all of the mutual aid departments as well as the Wyckoff Ambulance Corp and the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for their assistance.ppGreat job to all of the interior and exterior crews on a very well coordinated attack which led to a great stopppPhotos courtesy of the Waldwick Fire Department.ppemstrongNew Photos added 12-4-08 nbspcompliments of Deb Hooyman Wyckoff Ambulance Corp.strongemppnbsppp-249p
