pOn Christmas Eve at approximately 1316 hours dispatch toned out a mutual aid requestnbsp for Tower Ladder 241 to respond mutual aid to Oakland for a working fire in a long term care facility in their town.ppTL 241 OIC BC. Rose responded into the scene along with Franklin Lakes Engine 331 to assist Oakland.nbspnbspppUpon arrival of the mutual aid units Oakland Command Asst. Chief Knapp reported that there had been a fire in the laundry roomnbspwhich was now extinguished leaving a heavy smoke condition in the building.nbsp Due to the smoke condition patients were evacuated to a different part ofnbspthe building while the smoke was cleared.ppThe crew from TL 241 assisted the Oakland Crews with vent operations and returned to service a short time later.pp-249p
