pAt appoximately 11am on Sunday Morning the Wyckoff Police received a report of smoke coming from the roof of a store in the Boulder Run Shopping Center.nbsp Upon arrival of the first police officernbspit was reported that heavy smoke was billowing from the attic area that was currently under construction.nbspnbspnbspppWyckoff FD Chief Dave Murphy 230 arrived on scene and requested a 2nd alarm assignment assignment to the scene due to the unknown location of the source of the smoke and extensive construction take place at the shopping center.ppWyckoff units signed into service and arrived on scene to find a heavy smoke condition in the attic area and retail area of a bagel store.nbsp Upon further investigation it was determined that contractors welding steel I-Beamsnbspon an exterior wall had started a small fire in the attic void space above the bagel store.nbspppMutual aid crews arrived and assisted at at the scene helping the Wyckoff crews open up the roofline and facade area where the fire was located.nbsp Due to the fast work of the members on scene the fire was quickly extinguished and confined to the original store of origin.ppThank you to towns that assisted.ppClick on the following link for more photos.nbsp Photos courtesy of Will Neunehaus.ppa hrefhttpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com9968httpwyckofffire.shutterfly.com9968ap
