pOver the past few weeks the call volume for the WFD continues keep the volunteers busy.nbspnbspppLast week the WFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Cedar Hill Avenue in front of the Cedar Hill Shopping Center.nbsp Upon arrival of Chief Murphy he located a vehicle into a utility pole wth wires down across the roadway. The members of the WFD responded and secured the vehicle and assisted keeping the scene secure until the utility company arrived and removed the wires.ppThis past Monday Evening 119 the Wyckoff Police Department dispatched the WFD for a reported leaf pile fire on Vassar Street.nbsp Upon the arrival of DC Graglia he located a large pile of leaves in the roadway fully engulfed.nbsp The members of the WFD arrived and extinguished the fire.ppnbspp
