pnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp On Friday December 31 2010 at approximately 1545 hrs the department was dispatched for a reported smoke condition in a large home under construction. Upon police arrival Officer Zivkovichalso WFD Captain reported heavy black smoke banked down to the floor as well as coming out of the eves of the home. Chief Murphy and the entire WFD fleet signed into service. A second alarm was sounded as Engine 231s crew forced entry and with limitednbspvisibility started an agressive search for the fire.nbsp Crews located a pile of rags and construction debris burning on the first floor. A portion of the floor had also burned through causing debris to drop into the basement.nbsp The fire was quickly extinguished. Thanks to the entire responding mutual aid for their assistance.
