pnbspnbsp This past Wednesday The WFD was dispatched to the Boulder Run Shopping Center for activated CO alarms in the apartments above the store fronts. Upon the arrival of initial crewsnbspthe investigation revealed readings of 200ppm in the apartment areas. All apartments and stores below were evacuated. Continuing withnbspthe investigation readings werenbsptaken in the stores whichnbspwere alsonbspelevated. Crews determined that earlier in the day a crew was using a large motorized walk behind concretenbspsaw without the proper ventilation. Readings in that store were in excess of 500ppm. Ventilation was conducted and the building was reoccupied. Thanks to Wyckoff BLS and all the mutual aid that assisted.ppnbspnbsp On this past Saturday evening The WFD was dispatched to a business located in the Rock Ledge Shopping Center. PSEampG was on location reporting CO readings of 400ppm. The building was evacuated and all utilities were secured. The building was ventilated and all adjoining stores were also checked. Once brought down to safe levels the building was reoccupied.
