At 0957 hours dispatch toned out the department to 383 Lehigh St for a reported telephone pole on fire extending to nearby shrubbery. Command 2 was established upon the arrival of E-232OIC FF Depken who reported nothing showing. E-235OIC Lt. Hendrickson and E-233OIC Btl. DeBlock also responded and stood by on nearby hydrants. Upon further investigation by the crew of E-232 the power was turned off to the home and the resident was advised to await PSEG to investigate as there was an electrical problem at the home. No further fire department action was needed and all apparatus was returning and available at 1010 hours.Fire Company 2 was toned out at 1158 hours for a mutual aid response to the Borough of Midland Park for a reported structure fire at 80 Greenwood Ave. E-232OIC Lt. Hendrickson responded and stood by on Greenwood Ave along with Chief Murphy230 assisting with Operations. The reported fire was investigated by the Midland Park Fire Dept and was determined to be unfounded. E-232 and Chief 230 were returning and available at 1220 hours.–FF Miller 220
