Dear Friends and Fellow Firefighters,
It is truly an honor to serve as Chief of Department for this great organization that has been serving the residents and neighbors of Wyckoff for 107 years! Through the dedication of our members, we are able to provide the residents of Wyckoff with the greatest level of fire protection available today.
Our all-volunteer membership constantly strives to improve our level of service by continually training and honing their skills. Every member who joins the ranks of the Wyckoff Fire Department completes over 180 hours of basic training at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute followed by continued education and training in Wyckoff each Monday Evening. In 2013, the members of the Wyckoff Fire Department donated over 34,000 man-hours of time training. This time does not represent the time donated to responding and answering the 472 calls for service during 2013.
All of the services that we are able to provide to our neighbors is due to support provided by our Mayor and Township Committee who continue to support our mission and work closely with us to ensure that we have the proper tools and equipment to handle any emergency that we may face.
Lou "Fuzz" Graglia
Chief of Department
