Upon Chief Murphys arrival the charge nurse reported to him a fire and smoke condition in a patients room. The assignment also brought Allendale Engine Oakland Ladder and a Hawthorne Engine in to cover the town while all units operated. Initial crews investigated and reported that they were unable to locate any fire but they did have a smoke condition. After extensive searches with multiple crews and camerasthe smoke condition inside the building eventually dissipated and did not return. The initial activation of the alarm was determined to be a nurse that activated a pull box after witnessing the smoke condition. The building was turned over to security and the assignment was downsized. Thank you to all the mutual aid that responded. Although it turned out not to be a fire it was a good learning experience and familiarity for all departments due to the complexity of the twelve buildings on campus. -230
