On Thursday and Friday the members of the WFD showed their true dedication to the community by answering over 25 calls for service during the recent snow storm. The calls started early in the morning ranging from motor vehicle accidents, wires down, trees down blocking roadways and numerous alarms.
Late on Thursday Evening, the members of the WFD went out to assist the Wyckoff Police Department who were out on Rt. 208 Southbound with a large tree across the roadway. WFD Members utilized chainsaws to remove the limbs from the roadway until a frontend loader arrived to push the tree out of the roadway.
Thank you to each and every member who came out to answer all of these calls during these difficult weather conditions.
