Engine#231 Responds to Little Ferry For The Building Fire

On Sunday, January 17, 2010, at approximately 0400 hours, Wyckoff Company#1 was dispatched by Bergen County Fire Coordinator Rauch, to respond to Little Ferry, to relieve a Rutherford Engine pumping at a structure fire. Chief Murphy#230 and Engine#231 (OIC BC Vanderplatt), responded on the assignment. Upon arrival, Little Ferry and several other towns were fighting a large and stubborn fire in a heavy timber built building. Crews had been fighting the fire since 9pm the night before and were doing a great job. At approximately 8:00am, Engine#231 was released as per the Coordinator and returned to the Township.Thanks to all the members that assisted on all calls this weekend.
