At 10:42 am this morning, Wyckoff Police dispatched NORCON and a mutual aid request for the Tower Ladder to respond to Oakland for a working basement fire.

Tower Ladder #241 (OIC BC Vanderplaat) signed into service and was instructed by Oakland Chief Knapp #1030 to respond directly into the scene.  Upon arrival the crew from #241 assisted the Oakland crews with minor overhaul and ventilation of the structure.

Additional mutual aid coverage companies included a Mahwah Engine and a Pompton Lakes Ladder.

All mutual aid units were released from the scene at 11:25am.
